Hey!
Just wanted to give ya a good recipe for a real summer-smoothie! I have been walking in the city all day, and im in a fantastic summer moood! :D The sun is shining and im all healthy!!!! I have laid my life over, so now i am the most healthy person in the world :)
Well, this is a melon smoothie, and it is really refreshing. Try it out! It takes 2 min. to make, and tastes delightful. :)
Melon Smoothie.
for 1. person.
You need:
1/2 melon ( I have used honeydew melon, but you can always try out with other kinds ;) )
1/2 apple. ( You can also poor a little apple juice into it, but it's not necessary, or you could try out with pear! :D )
A splash of elderflower juice, concentrated.
About 3 spoons of ecological vanilla ice cream.
If you want to avoid any kinds of small apple bits, then start with blending the apple. Dont use a blender, it takes far too much time to clean. Instead, use an electronic hand blender (stavblender ;p). That way, you have way less cleaning up to do! Then, put the melon in. There is a lot of juice in the melon, so you wont need a lot of apple juice, maybe even non. Therefore, it is also a good idea to go easy on the elderflower juice, especially because it is concentrated, and therefore strong. you can put that in anytime though, just remember to taste it now and then. When all that is blended good toghether, you've got yourself a delightful juice. To make it into more of a smoothie, add the healthy icecream! :) Blend again till you have a smooth icy consistency. And Voila!
